250 years of American independence at the Louwman Museum
2 July 2026
On Thursday 2 July, the celebration of 250 years of American independence took place at the Louwman Museum. The program was held in and around the museum. In the square there was a large stage where speeches by, among others, Prime Minister Rob Jetten and US Ambassador Joe Popolo were the main focus, followed by a performance by Kensington.

A special evening that focused on the relationship between the Netherlands and the United States.
We thank US Embassy The Hague for their trust and all guests for their presence.
