Lithography on paper Marcello Dudovich, a self-taught Italian illustrator, is revered as one of the founding fathers in Italian poster design. He designed posters for Pirelli tyres, Bugatti and Fiat Balilla to name but a few. With a background in theater and experience in set and costume design, many of Dudovich's works advertised theater productions as well as films for the movie industry. Dudovich combined vibrant colours and modern graphics with Art Nouveau to create his distinct look. His advertising messages were elegant, persuasive and filmic. Publishing house G.
